N.E.W. J.O.B.
Jul. 28th, 2007 08:52 pmYis! I have a New Job. :D Tomorrow (Sunday) is my last full day at my current location, and then I get a week off to apply to vet school, take my chemistry final, and read Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows.
And then, the following week, on a day as yet to be determined, I begin work at my New Job.
The new place is called Bowman Animal Hospital. Check 'em out on the web: http://www.bowmananimalhospital.com/
Yes, yes, it's a little...fruity. They do a lot of alternative medicine - acupuncture, herbal stuff, even crystals. But y'see, that's a *good* thing, because, well, a lot of it works and when you're trying to practice medicine on an animal no-one knows anything about (which is pretty much what zoo vets do) you might as well keep all your options open. In other words, getting experience with it is good. Also, Bowman does exotic animals (i.e. anything that isn't a cat or a dog). I'm hoping to be able to work with the exotic specialists a lot.
Anyway, hoorays! I am happy.
Also, Chris has gotten a new job as well; he works for Intrex. Right now he's just ye-cashier-and-question-answerer but they seem to want to get him into the back to actually fix computers pretty soon. Apparently everyone starts as y.c.a.q.a.
Anyway, wish me luck applying to vet schools. :D
