Yah, it's snowi...well, it was sorta snowing. That is, cold icy white stuff was falling from the sky like snow. It was definitely cold. It was building up on the cars. It seemed to be a mixture of rain and snow. Odd for a St. Patrick's day but then I hear winter sometimes comes late to the south.
In other news, job situation still totally up in the air. Will we get bought out? (Very likely, at this point, but no one is allowed to tell us yet.) Will I still have a job afterwards? (Very likely; the question is whether I'll have a *real* job with this company, or go looking to Manpower again to place me somewhere else.) Will we have to wear safety goggles while we stare at tiny little seeds? (Probably; dammit, those things hurt my eyes, especially with the stupid lighting in this place. I have the feeling that, regulations or no, a lot of people just aren't going to wear them.) Maybe if we're REALLY lucky, the big company that's buying us out will build a new building for the physiology group where we won't have to wear goggles at all, and the folks who do seed and soil work can have this building to themselves. Then they can get the keyboards that don't get clogged with dust and seeds, and we can get the good lighting and the no-goggles.
