Stupid car troubles.

normanrafferty said earlier this week that his car had figured out he had money, and had therefore come down with problems.  I think it's a trend.

Tonight I was at cspowers's party in Chapel Hill and I parked facing down on a hill.  So of course I engaged the emergency break.  Well, when we tried to pull out at about 8:30, it seemed as if the emergency break would not disengage.  We finally figured out it was only holding down one wheel.  Still, that sucks.  We finally ended up having it towed to a place in Chapel Hill, and getting a ride home with other folks whose LJ names escape me at the moment.

Bleh.  Oh well.  Hopefully it won't be anything too terrible.
